Questions and answers

Straight answers before you commit.

Straight answers about entries, payments, drawings, pricing, and the boundary between operational software and legal advice.

Getting started

What is included in the starter setup?

Raffles, prizes, ticket packages, numbered entry records, public pending and free-entry flows, trusted offline entry tools, views, reports, confirmations, drawing-result workflow, and sample records you can replace.

Payments

Does the starter purchase form charge a card?

No. It deliberately creates a pending request. Configure and verify an online checkout before accepting paid online entries; only successful payment evidence or trusted staff action should qualify a purchased entry.

Free entry

Can we offer a no-purchase entry path?

Yes. The starter includes a distinct free alternate method of entry with equal drawing standing and no fundraising credit. Your approved rules decide the exact eligibility, limits, and required presentation.

Offline sales

Can staff record Cash or Check activity?

Yes. Authorized Team Users can record trusted offline sales with ticket and tender details without manufacturing a processor transaction.

Multiple raffles

Do we need a new account for each raffle?

No. Each raffle is a top-level record, and its packages, entries, and prizes link to it. One Team and one website can operate repeated or overlapping raffles.

Legal

Does Simply Raffles determine compliance?

No. The product supplies operational structure, not legal advice. Your organization must confirm eligibility, permits, disclosures, prize and payment rules, tax treatment, drawing procedure, and retention requirements.

Make the drawing exciting. Keep the records boringly clear.

Build privately, publish deliberately, and run the fundraiser from one connected entry ledger.
